Mom & Dad, AKA Terry & Weese, moved from Plainfield, Illinois to buy this resort in 1969! They raised us 4 kids here at Kitchi and ran it for 36 years! My husband Eric (originally from Ft. Wayne, Indiana) and I sold our home and moved from Las Vegas, Nevada in 2005 to buy this resort from my parents. They had decided it's about time to spend the summers fishing all day, sitting on the other side of the bar, relaxing in the evenings, and watching the sun set over Kitchi Lake... Thanks for 36 years of great Kitchi fun!
